Geelong Cats can provide the following GMHBA Health Update ahead of their Round 15 match against Fremantle at Optus Stadium this Thursday night.

Jack Bowes (hamstring tightness), Brad Close (ankle) and Rhys Stanley will all be tests to play this week. Stanley reported knee soreness ahead of the Cats’ VFL game last Saturday which saw him managed for the game.

Tom Stewart is continuing progress through the AFL concussion protocol, with the Club to monitor his availability throughout the week for Thursday night's game.

Keighton Matofai-Forbes is aiming to make his return to football for the VFL this Saturday. He will train with the group across the week as the Club assesses his readiness following an extended conditioning period.

Jacob Molier is progressing through a conditioning block following recent injury interruptions and remains on track for a return following the Cats’ Bye.

Tyson Stengle played his first game of the year in the Cats' VFL win on Saturday, kicking 4 goals. He will continue on an individualised program.
