The Geelong Football Club are excited to invite all Perth-based Cats fans to attend their Captain's Run on Wednesday, as they prepare for a big clash with Fremantle on Thursday.

After making the trek from Geelong to Perth, the Cats will be out and about getting acclimatised with Optus Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

A number of Western Australian natives will be returning home this week, including the likes of Shannon Neale, Mitch Edwards and Lawson Humphries.

The Captain's Run will commence at 3.15pm local time and will run to 4.00pm, with fans getting the chance to see their Geelong heroes up close and personal.

Fans attending the session will need to enter through Gate D at Optus Stadium, with entry free for all Cats fans.

The Captain's Run will be Geelong's final tune-up before they return to Optus Stadium on Thursday night, set to take on the ladder-leading Fremantle Dockers to kick off Round 15.
