Return flights on the team’s chartered plane from Avalon with the Geelong Cats travelling party (players, coaches and staff) and a reserved seat ticket to the game. You can upgrade to the ultimate package and stay at the team hotel (note: team hotel not available for Round 10 v Brisbane). 

No, all transfers will need to be arranged by the guest themselves. This includes transport to and from the airport, hotel and game. We recommend using ride share services for airport transfers. For match day, please refer to the host Stadiums website for the best way to get to the game. 

In most cases, flights will depart around midday on the day prior and after the scheduled match. Please refer to the individual round information for the exact flight times and note that flight times are subject to change. 

It is recommended that you arrive between 30 minutes and 2 hours prior to your flight’s departure time. Please note, check in will close 30 minutes prior to departure. 

Prior to the flight, you will receive a Virgin Australia booking confirmation for both flights. At Avalon Airport, please head to the dedicated Virgin check-in desk to receive your boarding pass and check in any bags. For all return flights, your booking confirmation can be used at the Virgin kiosks in the departures area to collect boarding passes and check in any bags. Please ensure you are carrying ID with you at all times to assist with check in. 

Economy Class: 1x 7kg Carry On / 1x 23kg Checked Baggage. Please note, oversize baggage is not available for the chartered flight. 

Yes, as per the Avalon Airport’s policies, all guests must be screened before entering the departure lounge. Personal effects are CT scanned and people entering must pass through a Body Scanner. Yes, there will food or beverage service carts on the chartered flights. Credit card payments accepted.

The Geelong Cats travelling party including players, coaches and staff will be seated at the front of the plane. Virgin Australia will allocate all seating on the flight. 

While you are traveling with the team, we ask that you respect the players’ space and preparation time. Opportunities for photos/autographs are at the discretion of the club or player and are not guaranteed. 

Unless stated otherwise, the accommodation provided will be at the same hotel as the team.

The package includes two nights accommodation – one night either side of the game. If you would like to stay longer, you will need to book this separately to the travel booking. 

Breakfast is not included in your package but can be purchased through the hotel on arrival. 

Yes, we offer a flight and ticket package to allow for flexible accommodation organised by the guest.

As part of the package, you will receive a reserved seat ticket for the match. This seat will be with other Geelong Cats fans. Match tickets will be sent to you via email in the days prior to the game.
