Mikayla Bowen has made her home on the wing since joining Geelong via a trade with West Coast ahead of Season 7. The 22-year-old brings brilliant tenacity and determination to every game, with her unrelenting tackling a feature of her play. Renowned for her leadership and running capacity, Bowen brings a strong presence to the Cats’ midfield contingent. Bowen won Geelong’s Hoops Award in Season 7 – a player and staff-voted award presented to the player who best embodies the program’s values. Bowen was elevated to the Cats' leadership group in 2023.
