Four Geelong players have featured in the coaches' votes, following their Round 4 victory over Essendon at GMHBA Stadium on Sunday. 

Aishling Moloney and Nina Morrison led the way in the match, with both key Cats awarded eight votes apiece after playing a starring role against the Bombers. 

Polling her first votes of the season, Moloney tore the game apart with four goals before half time, going on to add two goal assists from 16 disposals in a dominant display. 

Morrison continued her incredible start to the year, finishing with 26 disposals, 15 tackles and two goals to help lead the Cats to a third consecutive victory. 

Mikayla Bowen received six votes for her astounding performance, collecting a career-high 40 disposals against Essendon, while also adding six score involvements and five intercept possessions. 

Georgie Prespakis rounded out the votes for the Cats as she extended her remarkable form, finishing with 26 disposals, seven tackles and five clearances on Sunday afternoon. 

The AFLW Coaches Association’s Champion Player Award is an award voted by the 18 coaching panels on a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort by an individual player in a season.
