On Anzac Day we honour the men and women who have served our country in war, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. This year marks the 107th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings and we remember those who lost their lives there in 1915, and all who have died serving their country.

We pay our respects to the Geelong Football players who answered the call to serve their country in the Boer War, World War I, World War II and Vietnam. 13 Geelong Football Club Past Players made the ultimate sacrifice.

World War I:  James Aitken, John Bell, Alan Cordner, Joe Crowl, Les James, Bill Landy, Arthur McKenzie, Ted McLean & Joe Slater.

World War II: Clyde Helmer, Jim Knight, Ralph Lancaster & Jack Lynch.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

we will remember them.

Lest we forget.
