A multi-sport talented athlete, Caitie Tipping was a member of the Australian women’s national volleyball program before switching codes to AFLW, joining Geelong ahead of the 2025 season as an Other Sport Rookie.Prior to that, Tipping was originally on a scholarship at the University of South Alabama in the USA, before most recently playing with Linköping Volleyboll Club in Sweden. As a junior, Tipping has also played competitive soccer as a goalkeeper.
Standing at 191cm, Tipping is set to bolster Geelong’s ruck stocks with her height and athleticism, with the Club securing the 24-year-old’s services for the next three seasons, until at least the end of 2027, as she looks to develop her game in her new sport.
