Crossing codes after being a star volleyballer for a number of years, Tipping developed quickly throughout the season and earned a debut in Round 8 against Carlton, having a presence around stoppages and displaying great ruck craft.
She went on to play each of Geelong's final five games of the season, leading the club for average hit-outs per game and even laying five tackles in the season finale against Melbourne.
Heading into a second season in the Hoops, look for Tipping to continue her development and cement her position as Geelong's number one ruck.
