Geelong Cats can provide the following Deakin AFLW Health Update ahead of their Round 8 game against Richmond Friday night at IKON Park.

Caitie Tipping (knee) will be a test for Friday night, needing to complete full training this week to be available for selection. 

Alissa Brook (foot) will take part in limited scrimmage minutes this weekend, as the defender continues to build her training loads.

Lexi Gregor sustained a concussion in Thursday night’s win over the Hawks and has subsequently entered the AFLW concussion protocol.

Emma Kilpatrick has made positive progress in her rehabilitation, reaching key strength markers that have opened the possibility of a return in 2026. Having initially been ruled out for the remainder of the season, Kilpatrick will delay shoulder surgery until after the season, allowing her to continue building strength and progressing through her rehabilitation program while the Club's medical team continues to monitor her recovery.
