The Geelong Cats can provide the following Deakin AFLW Health Update ahead of their Round 6 game against Collingwood on Saturday at Victoria Park.
Priya Bowering will work towards a return in the next 8-10 weeks, following successful surgery last Monday to correct a foot fracture. Her recovery will continue to be monitored over the coming weeks.
Zali Friswell underwent scans this week, following reported leg soreness, which revealed a stress reaction in her femur. Zali will be unavailable this week as she continues to be assessed to determine her recovery timeline.
Amy McDonald (hamstring), Catie Tipping (knee) and Alissa Brook (foot) continue to work through their respective rehabilitation, with all three integrating into drills with the team this week.
The Cats head up the highway to take on Collingwood at Victoria Park this Saturday 19 September at 12.35pm. Their next home game is the Thursday night blockbuster against Hawthorn on the eve of Grand Final weekend on Thursday 27 September, 7.15pm. Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster, starting at just $15.
