The Geelong Football Club is pleased to launch the 2026 AFLW Best and Fairest, which is set to take place at GMHBA Stadium on Friday December 4, proudly presented by Perpetual. 

Celebrate the very best of the AFLW season and honour the players, performances and milestones that defined the year.

Enjoy an evening of season highlights, exclusive player and coach interviews, and Club award presentations, before the night culminates with the crowning of the 2026 AFLW Best & Fairest Medal winner.

Last year, Georgie Prespakis cemented her status as one of Geelong's premier AFLW players as she returned to the top of the pile, taking out second Cats best and fairest award in three years.

Prespakis (185 votes) finished clear atop the leaderboard, followed by Nina Morrison in second place (110 votes) and Mikayla Bowen (76 votes) in third, while Becky Webster (54 votes) and Jackie Parry (51 votes) rounded out the top five. 

Other previous winners of the award on the current list include Amy McDonald (2021, 2022 S6, 2022 S7) and Nina Morrison (2024).
