Showing absolutely no signs of slowing down entering his 14th season at Geelong, Blicavs will be well within reach of another incredible milestone when the 2026 season rolls around.
Last year the versatile Cat continued to adapt as the team required, even adding to his repertoire and playing deep inside Geelong's forward 50 at times.
His primary role was to play through the midfield and wing while providing support in the ruck, finishing with an average of 14 disposals and 14 hit-outs per game, while also ranking fifth at Geelong for total clearances.
Blicavs was thrust into the starting ruck role to begin Geelong's Finals campaign and excelled, particularly in the Qualifying Final where he collected 20 disposals and 26 hit-outs to help lead the Cats to victory.
Despite not being a noted goal-kicker, Blicavs finished with 11 majors for the year and hit the scoreboard in all three of Geelong's Finals.
Ending the season on 295 games, Blicavs can become just the second player in the competition's history to reach 300 AFL games after starting on a rookie list, with a chance to become just the eighth Geelong player to reach the magic milestone.
