His season perhaps did not get the attention and credit that it deserved, but Tyson Stengle played an integral role in Geelong's successful year with another terrific campaign.
Stengle's scoreboard impact was outstanding, kicking 34 goals of his own while also recording 24 goal assists, the sixth most of any player in the competition.
In 13 different games throughout the season, the crafty forward was able to kick multiple goals and that included a stellar three-goal haul against Hawthorn in the Preliminary Final.
But his presence in Geelong's forward half extended further than just the scoreboard, with Stengle also finishing second in the AFL for tackles inside 50, constantly applying elite pressure and holding opposition defenders accountable.
He has kicked 160 goals across the last four seasons with the Cats, second only to Jeremy Cameron in that span with Stengle set to be instrumental once again heading into 2026.

Kardinyu, in Wadawurrung language is the place of the morning sun, a place of deep cultural connection and significance, a meeting place since the beginning of time. We are honoured to walk with the Wadawurrung People, to listen, respect and talk together on our journey on Wadawurrung Country.
