Stengle put together another solid campaign in 2023 booting goals in 15 of his last 16 games, despite suffering a nasty injury to his arm early in the season. Kicked a career high five goals in the round 17 win over North Melbourne and three against Essendon the following week, finishing with 27 majors for the season as Geelong’s premier small forward. Another Cat who would benefit from an injury free run this year, Stengle showed his potential in 2022 becoming a Premiership player and an All-Australian in his debut season with Geelong.
