GEELONG are looking to reset and focus on their next challenge after going down Port Adelaide by 16-points in the first qualifying final on Thursday night.
Speaking to K Rock Football post-game, midfielder Mitch Duncan lamented his side's inability to capitalise on the momentum they had a various stages in the game.
"First half I think we had more of the momentum, but couldn't capitalise on the scoreboard," Duncan said.
"In the third quarter we were convincingly outplayed, they managed to get more numbers around the ball and beat us up in there from contest to contest.
"Fourth quarter we gave ourselves a chance at 12 points down with six minutes to go, but it was disappointing that we couldn't capitalise on our momentum."
"I think we had three or four more scoring shots, so it's not all doom and gloom."

Geelong are a 'proud group' and Duncan is confident the team can regroup and make the most of a second chance next week.
"We have put in a lot of hard work to get where we are and we live to fight another day luckily and we back up and go again.
"I am really proud of the boys, coaching staff and the whole club in general this year, it has been a tough year and as I said we have put ourselves in a good position and now we just need to capitalise the best we can."
Duncan and his teammates will now turn their attention to the elimination final between West Coast and Collingwood.
They will likely watch and review as a collective, but it will be important to continue to be positive, as the season is still well and truly alive.
"We just need to create enthusiasm, we have done it all year, it's never easy footy, so we just need to do our best to get up again.
"We have been here before, so we can do it."
