FIVE THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR:

1. JED BEWS ON EDDIE BETTS
Young Jed has become a lynchpin in the Cats' backline, and this season he has often been handed the gig on the opposition's best small forward. It will be no different when Geelong takes on the Crows at Adelaide Oval on Sunday. Bews is preparing to start on Adelaide dynamo Eddie Betts, and he knows he'll have his hands full from the first bounce. Bews got a taste of playing on Betts when the two went head-to-head during the NAB Challenge game at Simonds Stadium in mid-March. "It'll be tough but I'll give it a good crack," Bews said after the Cats' solid training session at Geelong College on Thursday afternoon.

2. MORE CLEARANCE WINS FROM JOSH CADDY
Caddy has been an outstanding performer in recent weeks, filling the hole in the midfield left by Mitch Duncan, who remains some weeks away from returning after breaking his foot against the Sydney Swans. Caddy has won the second-most clearances of all Geelong players this season (skipper Joel Selwood is No. 1), and he has been a driving force at centre bounces. He will need to bring his A-game if the Cats are to win enough of the ball to defeat the Crows on their home deck.

3. ANOTHER GOOD PERFORMANCE AT ADELAIDE OVAL
Three weeks ago the Cats scored their best win of the season when they toppled Port Adelaide at the arena the Power people like to call the 'Portress'. That victory should give the players plenty of confidence as they head back to the same venue this weekend. Not so great, however, is Geelong's overall record in Adelaide, which includes matches played at Football Park. The Cats have played 33 games in Adelaide since the Crows entered the competition in 1991. They have won just 11 of them.

4. TWO CLUBS THAT DON'T BOTTOM OUT
Since the Second World War, Geelong and Adelaide are the only clubs that have not had a season where they have won less than 20 per cent of their matches.
