The business end of the AFLW campaign has arrived, with clubs preparing for the penultimate week in the home-and-away season.

With just two games remaining before Finals, teams are jostling for position and the battle for the post-season is heating up, with each game carrying added importance.

Geelong are firmly in the mix and remain one of the hottest teams in the competition, recording their ninth consecutive win with a victory over West Coast last Saturday.

The brilliant form has seen the Cats remain tied at the top of the ladder alongside North Melbourne, currently occupying second position with only percentage separating them and the back-to-back premiers.

Geelong will not leave home in the final two weeks of the regular season, set to play their final matches at GMHBA Stadium with a chance to bolster their position on the ladder.

The run home will commence this week with a clash against Fremantle, another team firmly in the mix for the post-season and hungry for a victory.

Coming off a strong win last week, the Dockers evened the ledger with a 5-5 record to this point of the campaign, currently sitting in eighth position on the ladder and vying for their second Finals appearance in the past five seasons.

The final round will then bring a blockbuster clash to the Cattery, as Geelong take on the Western Bulldogs in a game that could certainly shape the Finals race.

In the midst of their own five-game winning streak, the Bulldogs have ascended to fourth position on the ladder with an 8-2 record, looking to secure their second Finals appearance in the past eight seasons.

So with two big games left on the schedule for the home-and-away season, what does this all mean for Geelong?

Through the end of Round 10, the Cats' 9-1 record has them in second position and with another two victories, they can lock away a top two spot and host a Qualifying Final.

They currently sit one game clear of third and fourth position, with another game separating them and the Gold Coast Suns, who currently occupy fifth position.

One more win for the Cats will secure at least a top four finish and a double chance, while two losses could see them finish anywhere from second to seventh.

The most exciting portion of the AFLW season lies ahead and for Geelong, it starts this Saturday at GMHBA Stadium against Fremantle.Â
