Mannagh on his strong form

I think in footy, sometimes the ball bounces your way more times than not, and sometimes it doesn't.

It is like that but for me, I guess it might have been just a mental thing and a bit of intensity around the contest.

Trying to involve myself defensively, bringing that energy piece for the forwards and the rest of the team.

You see our small forwards when they are up and going, it makes the game a lot easier for everyone else.

It was just a bit of mental stuff and intensity, so hopefully I can keep that going for the rest of the year.

Mannagh on Geelong's First Nations Guernsey

I think for him [Lawson Humphries], it is probably his proudest moment.

Getting drafted and playing some big moments is obviously pretty cool, but getting to design a footy jumper at AFL level with his sister and the rest of his family would be top tier.

As I said, for us boys that got drafted together we are all pretty close. Getting to talk to him about things is pretty incredible, then to see him go and play so well in it and everyone else as well, it is nice.

Obviously it is such an important round for our Indigenous players and as I said, the more acknowledgement we get to them, the better it is.

It is nice for him to keep delivering on how important these are, and we keep playing well in them.

Mannagh on the Cats maintaining their momentum

I think everyone within these four walls looks at it that way, you are only as good as your last game in a way.

You are not going to get too high or too low, you are going to be pretty steadfast.

I think things can turn pretty quickly regardless, so try and keep a positive outlook on things but you are not going to see us ride too high or low on our games.

Mannagh on who helped him reverse his form

A lot of teammates and other staff as well, but Tom Stewart was big.

I sat down with him for a coffee and spoke about life really, other than footy because footy is just a byproduct of what we do on the weekend.

Life is more important, so to enjoy the little things and that can reflect on game day.

Mannagh on whether the win over Brisbane can set up Geelong's season

Certainly, they are an amazing team, aren't they?

This weekend as well, we can take a bit of confidence and that momentum into a big game against Sydney this week.

They are on top of the ladder and only lost one game, so we move pretty quickly onto them.

We have had a little bit of a break, so it is going to be exciting this week.
