After an incredible career spanning over 14 years at two different clubs, there was not much left that Jeremy Cameron had not achieved with the 2025 season winding down.

But entering the final month of the home and away season, even Cameron himself could not have predicted what was coming when Geelong took on North Melbourne under the lid at Marvel Stadium in Round 20.

The Cats were trying to solidify their spot in the top four and coming off a strong victory over St Kilda a week earlier, they were attempting to stay ahead of a ladder logjam with September looming large.

North Melbourne started strong with two of the opening three goals before Geelong flipped the game on its head, Cameron torching the Kangaroos and proving unstoppable as he roared to a career-high haul.

Cameron was Geelong's lone avenue to goal in the first term as he kicked his side's opening three goals, Shannon Neale then chimed in late with his first to put the Cats 16 points clear at quarter time.

Traffic started to flow in one direction early in the second quarter and the Cats capitalised on their momentum, piling on seven goals to one to open up a 44-point buffer at the main break.

After the Kangaroos kicked back-to-back goals in the first quarter, Geelong then went on a run of nine unanswered goals, led by Cameron who had five majors of his own by half time.

The dominance continued after the break as Cameron kicked the first two goals of the third quarter, which started an avalanche of scoring for the Cats.

They would kick eight goals in the third term alone, again led by Cameron who took his tally to nine majors by three quarter time, holding the Kangaroos to a solitary behind and stretching the lead to 106 points at the final break.

Knocking on the door of his first double digit haul, Cameron wasted no time reaching the magic number as he kicked his 10th goal just 90 seconds into the final quarter.

He would add an 11th major for good measure before Geelong took the foot off the gas, eventually closing out a dominant 101-point win over North Melbourne.

Cameron would claim the three Brownlow votes, while Bailey Smith was also electric finishing with 43 disposals and 13 clearances.
