Mark O'Connor on his 150th Game
I haven't had time to reflect just yet, I was just focused on getting a game and hopefully playing well.
Not really, hopefully over the next couple of days I will get a chance.
I am just so grateful to be here and grateful for the club, with all that they have given me over the time.
It is nearly 10 years now, so I am just grateful for everything.
Dane Henry, Australian Surfer
It was great, I am a Union boy myself but it was really good.
It was a sick atmosphere, good to see the Cats get the win in front of the home crowd. I really enjoyed it, obviously it is a lot smaller than the 'G but it is such a better atmosphere.
I saw Richmond and the Suns play at the MCG, but it was really nice and packed down here.
I was up in the partners stand in front of all the crew, I didn't know what I was looking at but it was sick.
Oli Wiltshire on how the game played out
That last quarter was a bit of a fight, but we were able to keep it in our forward 50 which was what we were after.
Repeat stoppages led to three goals in the last quarter, but just being able to keep it in there and not let them rebound out of our forward 50.
It is a bit more scrappy when it is wet weather, it is just about putting your head over the footy. It is a bit of a territory battle when it is wet.
Mark O'Connor on Oisin Mullin's Performance
Especially in that last moment, when the long kick came in and he had to try and get it over the line when he was out of position.
He has been unreal, Oisin.
He obviously gets the really tough match-ups, but he is just trying to grow his game and attack.
The more we can get the ball into his hands the better it is for us, and for him. Looking forward to seeing how that goes.
Chris Scott on Sam De Koning
We were really impressed by his game tonight.
I am glad you brought him up, because if you didn't then I would have.
Again, we don't want to be too effusive of the opposition, but if Thilthorpe ever wants to play anywhere other than Adelaide then we are happy to have him.
Their forward line for a long, long time now has been really potent, so it was a tough job for our defenders. At times they didn't have much help either, they just had to do the job one-on-one.
I was really pleased for Sam, I thought that was as well as he has played for a long time.
Shaun Mannagh on the tough contest
We expected that to be fair, Adelaide are a quality outfit.
We knew they would bring it from the first bounce, so it was a lot better effort from us in the first quarter this week.
The first couple of weeks we let ourselves down and had to chase a fair bit. To not have to do that tonight and actually be in front was really good, but then to fight it out at the end as well.
I think we had 25 tackles inside 50, so it was pretty gritty but they also did really well to defend us.
We will work on our goal kicking throughout the week I reckon.
Bailey Smith on where the Cats can improve (Channel 7 Interview)
I was scared there for a bit, but that is just a credit to them. They are a good side, so it was just us keeping our cool.
'Danger' not playing as well, so a lot of the young boys stepped up and showed plenty of leadership.
It is always scary and it probably wasn't as convincing as we would have liked, but the stats around the ball were pretty good.
We just couldn't convert, inside 50 we were pretty poor so we will work on it and then Easter Monday is going to be an awesome game against the Hawks.
