The Geelong Football Club is pleased to invite Queensland-based and travelling Cats fans to Thursday's Captain's Run, to see the team up close in the lead up to Friday's clash with the Gold Coast Suns.
Held on Thursday March 5, the Cats will hold an open session at People First Stadium from 4.00pm AEST, as they tune up for their Opening Round blockbuster.
All fans attending the session will get free entry via Gate 6 from 4.00pm AEST, with free parking also available in the sports precinct red car park.
Geelong's playing group will enjoy a final run after arriving in the Sunshine State, as they prepare to kick off their 2026 campaign the following day.
The Cats are set to make their Opening Round debut on Friday night, as they take on the Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium from 8.05pm AEST.
It will be the first time in nearly three years that Geelong has played a regular season match on the Gold Coast, looking to start their season on a positive note.
Please note that the full team will not be in attendance and due to time constraints, autographs and photos will be limited. There will be no onsite catering available for patrons, with People First Stadium also advising that patrons bring their own water.
