Jeremy Cameron has moved into equal fourth place on the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year leaderboard after being awarded a perfect ten votes for his Easter Monday performance.

Cameron (22 disposals, nine marks, seven goals) was dominant in another best on ground display and was one of seven Cats to catch the eye of the coaches during the club’s 82 point victory over the old foe.

Mitch Duncan (31 disposals, 14 marks) was unlucky not to get the nod for best on ground, playing second fiddle to the Cameron’s colossal performance, but was exceptional in his first game for the 2023 season, showing no signs of rust.

Patrick Dangerfield (27 disposals, 10 clearances), Tom Stewart (20 disposals, 93% efficiency), Max Holmes (26 disposals, 5 tackles), Isaac Smith (27 disposals, six marks) and Mark O’Connor (15 disposals, 8 contested possessions, 87% efficiency) were all among the votes.
