With their second pick in the AFLW Draft, Geelong have selected exciting prospect Priya Bowering from Tasmania.

A dominant and consistent midfielder out of the Tasmania Devils, Bowering is described as a powerful player who excels around stoppages.

With a clean pair of hands and brilliant football IQ, the Lauderdale product rarely puts in a bad performance across her junior career, featuring for the Tasmania Devils and the Allies at the National Championships.

Bowering averaged 19.5 disposals, 4.2 clearances and five tackles per game while representing the Allies, claiming their MVP award and All-Australian honours.

Combining her brilliant football traits with natural athletic ability, Bowering was widely regarded as one of the top prospects heading into the 2025 AFLW Draft and is set to have an immediate impact at Geelong.

Bowering joins Evie Cowcher as the Cats' opening two picks of the night, with Geelong set to make one more selection.
