PATRICK Dangerfield has been named in Geelong’s Round 16 team to play North Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday night at 7.25pm.

The 32-year-old will play his first AFL game since Round 10 and is one of two inclusions to a Cats outfit who will be chasing their sixth consecutive victory.

Gary Rohan has also been included after being a late withdrawal with illness last week.

Joel Selwood (managed) and Tom Stewart (suspended) will miss the clash with North Melbourne.

Saturday will be a special occasion for Mitch Duncan who will play his 250th AFL game.

The 31-year-old joined the Cats in the 2009 National Draft when Stephen Wells read out his name with the 28th overall selection. He will join teammates Joel Selwood (346) and Tom Hawkins (316) as current Cats to reach the milestone.

Geelong has an excellent recent record against North Melbourne having won their past nine clashes by an average winning margin of 32-points.

Their most recent battle taking place earlier this season in Round 6 with the Cats 60-point victors on that occasion.

Saturday’s clash at GMHBA Stadium will commence at 7.25pm with gates open from 5.25pm.

Geelong will name its medical substitute an hour prior to the first bounce.
