Kade Kolodjashnij on his brother's journey
It is amazing, it has been a long journey for him over 13 years now.
It goes quick though at the same time, but I am just super proud of him. He has persevered, cemented his spot down back now for a good decade.
I couldn't dream of anything more really, 200 games, a premiership player, I am just so happy for him to be honest.
He has worked his way into the side and done really well for himself.
Lincoln McCarthy on his first memories of Blicavs
To be honest, I knew nothing about 'Blitz' when we got drafted at the same time.
He was this Category B Rookie, obviously coming off the running background.
He was very loud and outspoken, but such a humble and respectful guy.
It is no coincidence that he has ended up in the position he is tonight playing his 300th, because he was the most professional, hungry and eager to learn bloke that I have probably come across.
I am just really stoked for him that he has been able to reach this milestone.
Andris Blicavs on whether he believed 300 games was on the cards
Ah no, because when it first started, none of us thought we would end up here.
It has been really exciting, really unique and I guess we have enjoyed the whole ride.
It is not a known fact, but Mark has nearly been in Mark of the Year twice.
He was the stepladder for Nic Naitanui and Shai Bolton, but anything to get some publicity.
Harry Taylor on his earliest memories of Kolodjashnij
I think it has only come out in the last five or six years [his humour].
Before that, he was quite literally a mute. We had to design drills and exercises so he could talk.
But he seems like he has found not only his feet, but his voice in the later part of his career.
That wit, that humour which I'm sure has always been there, he has felt much more comfortable to bring it out.
Esava Ratugolea on the milestone men
They are two of my really good mates. This weekend, I wasn't going to miss out on.
I am super happy and super proud of those blokes, they put a lot of work into this.
With my position change in my back end years being here, they helped me out a lot on the journey with little tips and tricks.
They are still dominating too so it was great to see tonight.
Kris Blicavs' favourite memory of his brother's career
I don't know what game or what year it was, but I remember he was playing in one of his many roles. I think he was in the ruck for some reason, he half won a contest and followed it up.
He took one step, wrapped it around on his left and kicked it about 65 metres and it sailed through.
I think everyone in the stadium, including him was in disbelief that it went through.
It sums him up pretty well, nobody really expected this just like nobody really expected that. But here we are 300 games later, so it has been a pretty cool experience.
Sam Simpson on the best stories from his time with the milestone players
They are quality, they are always great company the boys.
I think our favourite annual event, I think one of the boys might have touched on it earlier in the week, is 'Blitzy' loves to host a backyard cricket competition.
We are lucky enough down in Torquay with 'Kola' and 'Bliccy,' just around the corner. That is always good fun, it is a great chance to get us all together again.
One year we had the current Geelong boys vs the Geelong rejects, so 'Sav' and I teamed up for that one.
That was good fun, but that is always a good event.
Sara Blicavs on what Geelong means to the Blicavs family
I mean the Geelong fans are amazing here.
It is such a community and they get behind everyone.
We have definitely felt the love for Mark this whole week, and leading into this big game.
We are very, very proud of him.
Lincoln McCarthy on Kolodjashnij's achievement
He is of a similar ilk I guess.
He has worked super hard to get to this position, he has not done it the easy way and he has found himself with some injury troubles, but he has been able to work through and come out the other side of it.
Obviously to have notched up 200 games is a phenomenal achievement.
Harry Taylor on Blicavs' first moments at the club
I remember his first 2km time trial very well.
He lapped every single player, I thought I ran a reasonable time and he beat me by 58 seconds.
What was most extraordinary is afterwards, when I was out of breath on the ground and fighting for life, he comes over and asks how long before we do the next one? I said 12 months.
He was just extraordinary with what he could do from a running perspective, it taught me a hell of a lot about what it takes to nail that part of the game.
