After making her AFLW debut in 2024, Chantal Mason earned a more consistent opportunity at the top level in 2025, and a brilliant finish to the season has given plenty to be excited about heading forward.
Following four goalless outings to start the year, Mason announced herself with a phenomenal three-goal performance against the GWS Giants in Round 9, dominating inside forward 50 and leading the Cats to a big victory.
She would continue to be a presence in Geelong's forward half for the remainder of the season, kicking goals in each of the Cats' last four games for the year, while also collecting 10 disposals and three marks in the final round against Melbourne.
Alongside Aishling Moloney and Jackie Parry, Mason has started to cement herself as another key option in Geelong's attacking 50, another young Cat with plenty of upside heading into 2026.
