Caitlin Thorne has taken another significant step in her development over the 2025 pre-season after joining the Geelong as a replacement player in 2024.
Bringing versatility and a strong running game to the Cats, Thorne made her AFLW debut in Week 4, 2024, against the Gold Coast Suns and went on to play five games in her inaugural season. Thorne averaged 7.6 disposals, 1.6 marks, and 2.2 tackles per game, showcasing her ability to contribute both defensively and offensively.
Prior to joining the AFLW, Thorne had an impressive stint with the Box Hill Hawks in the VFLW.
