O'Sullivan exceeded even the wildest of expectations in 2025, cementing his place in the team early in the season before flourishing into one of the competition's brightest young talents. 

After playing one game at the top level in his inaugural year at the club, the 20-year-old went on to play all bar one game with Geelong's AFL team in 2025. 

O'Sullivan earned an AFL Rising Star nomination in Round 2 against St Kilda, ultimately finishing fifth in the award at the end of the year. 

Extremely athletic and ultra consistent, O'Sullivan wowed crowds around the country with his aerial ability as he pulled down a number of spectacular marks, but he also went on to lead Geelong for spoils and intercept possessions. 

Considering he achieved all of this in his first full season at AFL level, the future certainly is bright for O'Sullivan heading forward.
