O'Connor was a consistent member of the Cats AFL team in the first half of the 2024 season, playing 13 of Geelong's first 15 matches.
Across this stretch he put in some solid performances, averaging 12 disposals and three tackles while playing a variety of roles as the team required.
Unfortunately injuries interrupted the back half of his campaign, making a handful of appearances for the VFL Cats with his last AFL match coming in round 16 against Essendon.
O'Connor put to pen to paper early last year, signing a two year contract extension which will see him remain with Geelong until at least the end of 2026.
