Geelong's new arsenal of attacking weapons.

FORWARDS coach Corey Enright is thrilled with the arsenal of attacking weapons he has at his disposal for the 2021 season.

Already working with the side that managed the highest home and away points for total across the previous season, Enright is excited by the additions of Cameron, Smith and Higgins.

“They all have very attacking instincts which has been nice from my point of view. All are really smart and use the footy really well,” Enright says.

“They’ve all been outstanding and are obviously (they are) outstanding people as well.

“They’ve played footy for a long time, all three of them and understand the game really well, so their knowledge is great.

While Enright is keen to show the trio of new Cats the Geelong way, he knows the club has also acquired a vast source of football knowledge.

“We’ve probably been picking apart their brains as much as they’ve been trying to learn from us,” he says.

“It’s been good so far and they’ve been able to implement a few things along the way.”

With two Coleman medallists now roaming the forward 50 arch at GMHBA Stadium, Enright is keen to see just how good his forward group can be.

“We were pretty good in that part of the ground last year and that’s something we want to continue to evolve and get better at,” he says.

“From an attacking point of view we’ve just got to capitalise on what we’ve got. We’re pretty good from stoppage and from turnover as well.

“It’s the same as every other club trying to get a balance of those scores and creating chances.”
