Geelong's high-octane offence has sent a serious warning to the rest of the competition, helping the Cats to power their way to an eighth consecutive win on Saturday afternoon.

Recording 26 scoring shots against the Giants, the Cats registered their fifth score of 80 points or more and are now averaging 73 points per game in 2026, comfortably the highest scoring team in the competition.

Saturday's dominant display was led by Jackie Parry and Aishling Moloney, with both star forwards kicking four goals apiece, but the Cats also had eight individual goal kickers in a well-rounded display.

Parry said it is a strong team-first mentality that is driving Geelong's scoring prowess, while also crediting the midfield unit for their dominance and delivery inside forward 50.

"None of us care who is actually hitting the scoreboard, as long as we are kicking lots of goals," Parry said.

"It is a really fun forward group to be a part of, and we are really connected.

"I couldn't have asked for a better group of teammates.

"We are the highest scoring team, but it doesn't come that way without our midfielders delivering it in. We are pretty lucky."

Parry has been outstanding so far in 2026, hitting the scoreboard in all bar one game and booting a total of 20 goals for the year, now sitting in second on the AFLW's goal kicking leaderboard.

The Cats are well represented in the top 10 on the leaderboard, with Chloe Scheer (19 goals) in third place and Aishling Moloney (15 goals) both nipping at the leaders' heels.

It has powered Geelong to eight consecutive wins and they now sit in second place on the ladder, with only three games remaining in the home-and-away season.

Despite their remarkable form, the Cats still had a strong focus on piecing together a four-quarter performance, striving to improve their consistency heading into the business end of the competition.

Parry noted that there will still be areas for improvement from Saturday's contest, but believes that the Cats will be pleased with what they produced in the victory over GWS.

"Last week, Richmond came out with a bit of heat," Parry said.

"This week was more about being able to weather the storm, if GWS came out with the same intensity. But I think we got the game on our terms a bit, and we applied our own pressure.

"I think we had one of our higher pressure ratings for the year, so we are really happy with that.

"Obviously we still have to review the game, there might be some moments that we would want to do better.

"As a whole, I think we are getting much closer to a four-quarter performance which is exciting."
