Dempsey on Geelong's current form

We have had a few good weeks, but we look ahead and there are so many good teams still to come.

I haven't really reflected on it too much in that sense, as cliche as it sounds but we are just taking it one week at a time.

We have got Carlton this week and they are solid, but it has been a pretty good month so far.

We touched on it at the start of the North Melbourne game, that the next month let's get it right and I feel like we have which is nice. It is a positive outlook.

Dempsey on the confidence gained from Saturday afternoon

Yeah it was massive, it was a great win at home.

It is always good winning at home, in front of a big crowd too.

We loved it and they are a great side, we know that clearly because they were on top of the ladder.

It was a massive confidence boost for us for sure.

Dempsey on whether the Cats relish different challenges

Definitely and as you said, Scotty is one of the best at doing that.

I feel like each week, our game does change a bit and it has to, to be able to adapt to different opposition.

Even just with how we tag a few players, that sort of changes each week and we need to be able to adapt around that.

It is pretty cool, when it is working like the last four weeks, it has been great.

Dempsey on the personal growth of players at the club

For me personally, my identity would be in God and I find that has been massive for me. Being able to not ride the ups and downs of footy and life, life is hard enough as it is.

It is a massive testament to the club with Bailey and how he spoke. I have been driving him to the club a lot recently, but it has been really great.

We were chatting last Friday and he made the comment about how he is in debt to this club and he owes a lot to the club, I think that is a massive testament to guys like 'Hock' and 'Scotty.' It is pretty cool seeing his transformation, you can see it on the footy field.

We have coffee pretty regularly, most days and life outside of footy is massive and this club is so amazing at promoting that.

I think I have found it, with God and having my identity in that, I have found so much peace and joy through that over the last years. It has been pretty cool to see other guys transition to that a bit.

Dempsey on whether he is expecting a rest

I saw a stat the other day, I think I have played 65 games in a row.

I want to keep that going, so hopefully I don't get managed.

But no, I am feeling great. The body is feeling good, we have a few older guys who probably put their hand up pretty quickly for that.

If I felt sore or something like that I would put my hand up, but I am feeling really good which is nice.
