An epic night awaits as Friday night football returns to the Cattery, with Geelong making three changes as they prepare to take on the Western Bulldogs at GMHBA Stadium.

A wealth of experience has been added to Geelong's team including Mark Blicavs, who is set to become just the eighth player in the club's history to reach 300 AFL games.

Cats skipper Patrick Dangerfield will also make his return this week, preparing to play his first game since the Round 1 victory over Fremantle and just his second game of the season.

Jack Martin rounds out the inclusions as he returns to Geelong's starting line-up, after being managed last week for the Cats' Gather Round clash with West Coast.

Mark O'Connor comes out of the side after accepting a one match suspension, Gryan Miers (knee) will miss this week through injury, while Brad Close will be managed.
