Geelong's VFL team has been bolstered by some big inclusions for their Friday night clash with the Box Hill Hawks at GMHBA Stadium.

New Cats recruit James Worpel will return from a finger injury while Brad Close will also line-up for his first VFL game, with Jamieson Ballantyne the other inclusion for Geelong's Round 2 clash.

Oli Wiltshire and Ollie Henry both come out of the VFL team after earning a recall to Geelong's AFL side, while Jay Polkinghorne will miss through injury.

Geelong will look to build on their big Round 1 victory over Essendon as they return to GMHBA Stadium on Friday night, set to take on the Box Hill Hawks from 7.05pm AEDT.

The match is free to attend for Geelong Cats members, while general public tickets will also be available from $10 and can be purchased at the gate.
