For the third consecutive week, Georgie Prespakis has been recognised as one of the top players on the ground, receiving eight coaches’ votes for her performance against Sydney on Saturday.
The star on-baller collected a game-high 27 disposals and 11 clearances against the Swans, recording seven score involvements and two goal assists to continue her stellar start to the year.
It takes her tally to 22 votes already in 2025 and Prespakis sits in a tie for sixth place on the overall leaderboard, an impressive feat despite the Cats suffering three consecutive defeats.
Amy McDonald and Aishling Moloney were the other Geelong players recognised in Round 3, each receiving their first votes of the season.
McDonald was strong through the middle amassing 16 disposals and seven clearances, while Moloney collected a career-high 23 disposals and booted three goals, continuing to be the shining light inside 50 for the Cats.
Every week, the two senior coaches for each game give votes on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis, meaning 10 votes is the maximum a player can receive in each round.
The player with the most votes at the end of the home-and-away season will win the Sharp EIT Solutions AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.
