The Geelong Football Club can provide the following updates ahead of its Round 13 game against Gold Coast Suns at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.

After missing the past two weeks, Geelong captain Patrick Dangerfield will be a test to make his return from a hamstring injury suffered against Port Adelaide in Round 10, while Irish recruit Cillian Burke is in the frame to play his first VFL game since joining the Cats, after overcoming a knee injury.

Over the weekend, the Cats welcomed back midfielder Jhye Clark via the VFL after he cleared the AFL’s concussion protocol, while Cameron Guthrie, Jack Martin and Mitch Knevitt all played increased minutes after making their return from injury the week prior.

In other updates, Jack Bowes is expected to miss one more week with his hamstring injury.
