Four Geelong players have received coaches votes for their performance against West Coast on Sunday, Gryan Miers leading the way with nine votes and Bailey Smith hitting the outright lead on the overall leaderboard.
Continually showcasing his elite work rate, Miers was able to continually find space on the wide expanses of Optus Stadium accumulating 26 disposals and 13 marks, while also kicking two goals in the first quarter.
The crafty Cat went at an impressive 85% disposal efficiency to help generate numerous attacking forays, finishing the night with nine score involvements in a phenomenal display.
It is just the second time that Miers has featured in the coaches votes this year, taking his tally to 10 for the season.
Bailey Smith has been awarded eight votes for his performance against the Eagles, taking his season tally to 59 votes and moving him into the outright lead on the overall leaderboard, surpassing Adelaide's Jordan Dawson.
The star midfielder amassed a game-high 38 disposals (25 in the first half) on Sunday night, generating 834 metres gained and eight score involvements to have a big impact on the result.
It continues a stellar run of form for Smith, who has now received coaches votes in five consecutive matches and sits four votes clear of Noah Anderson in second position.
Max Holmes has also been recognised for his influential display against West Coast, receiving seven votes from the coaches after collecting 27 disposals and seven clearances in the Cats important victory.
The brilliant on-baller broke the game open with his run and carry, registering 853 metres gained (737 by half time) while also generating eight inside 50 entries and seven score involvements.
Jeremy Cameron has featured in the votes for a third consecutive week, receiving two votes from the coaches after booting five goals against the Eagles to extend his lead in the Coleman Medal.
The superstar forward was well held for most of the night but stood tall when the game was on the line, kicking four consecutive goals in the final quarter to help the Cats pull away from the Eagles late.
