Geelong has named an all-Ireland centreline for Sunday's clash with North Melbourne in what will be Zach Tuohy's record-breaking game.
Tuohy, who is set to overtake Jim Stynes for the most VFL/AFL games played by an Irish-born footballer, has been named alongside the returning Mark O'Connor and Oisin Mullin for the game at GMHBA Stadium.
O'Connor returns after being a late-withdrawal last week due to a minor injury, while Mullin has been impressive in the VFL the past two weeks after returning from injury as well.
Jack Bowes has been named on the field after being named starting substitute in recent weeks.
As announced on Thursday, Jed Bews (knee) and Jake Kolodjashnij (adductor) are out through injury, but are expected to be available for selection next week, while Isaac Smith is being managed.
Geelong will name its substitute one hour prior to the game.
First bounce is at 1.10pm local time on Sunday. Fans attending the game are encouraged to wear a touch of green with their Cats gear in honour of Tuohy's milestone.
The AFL match will be followed by a VFL curtain-closer at GMHBA Stadium on Sunday. Patrons who would like to attend the VFL match will be asked to make their way to Gate 5 at the conclusion of the AFL game. Gate 5 will open at 5.05pm for the public to enjoy the VFL match from the Reg Hickey Stand.
Entry to the VFL match is free for Cats members and AFL Round 17 ticket holders. VFL tickets are $10 for non-members.
