GEELONG has made two changes to its side that will play Sydney at the SCG on Friday night.

Mitch Duncan returns to the senior line-up after making a successful comeback in a VFL practice match last weekend getting through three quarters of football.

The 30-year-old has been named to start in the centre.

Jed Bews also returns after missing Geelong's Round 1 victory against Essendon with concussion.

In a further boost for the Cats, Jeremy Cameron has been named after a heavy collision saw him leave the field early against the Bombers.

Duncan and Bews replace Shaun Higgins (managed) and Sam De Koning (injured).

Cooper Stephens, Quinton Narkle, Francis Evans and Jonathon Ceglar are the emergencies. Geelong will name its medical substitute an hour prior to the first bounce.

Geelong's Round 2 clash at the SCG on Friday night will commence at 7.50pm AEDT and be televised on Fox Footy/Kayo.
