The Cats secured the services of Gaelic Footballer Emma Murray as an Other Sport Rookie for the 2026 AFLW Season.
Murray, 27, is a talented half-back winger with great athletic ability, composure and leadership skills, a key part of Waterford’s All-Ireland Championship win over Donegal in October 2024.
Named Waterford captain for the 2025 season, she won her first ever All Star award after a sensational campaign, becoming the first Waterford player to win a Ladies’ Football All Star award since 2007.
Murray also captained the Comeragh Rangers to their inaugural Munster Senior Club Ladies’ Football Championship title.
