In his first full season with Geelong, Pike looked increasingly comfortable at VFL level with each passing week and showed promising signs of development as the campaign unfolded.
Using his towering frame and height to his advantage, Pike's ruck craft improved as the year rolled on and he was able to influence stoppages, winning a career-high 44 hit-outs in the Cats' Round 12 victory over Werribee.
He was also able to get his hands on the football and followed up strongly with an average of over three tackles per game, while even pushing forward to impact the scoreboard at times, including a two-goal outing against Sydney in the final round of the season.
Heading into his second year with Geelong, Pike will be looking to continue his growth while still utilising his height and athleticism to impact games.
