It ultimately led to one of the top highlights of the year, when the Barwon Heads product made his AFL debut against Carlton at the MCG in Round 7.
He would also feature at the top level the following week against Collingwood, kicking his first goal and registering three inside 50s as the Cats held on to record a famous victory in front of a big crowd.
Wiltshire then returned to the Cats' VFL team for the remainder of the year, putting together a number of impressive performances and finishing with 18 goals from his 13 appearances.
