There were not many players more crucial for Geelong in 2025 than Gryan Miers, with his importance continuing to grow each season.
With his lethal skills by foot and exquisite creativity, Miers was able to pick apart opposition defences, averaging a career-high 22.25 disposals per game while still going at a very impressive 75.5% disposal efficiency.
He continued to have an impact in the forward half, finishing 13th in the AFL for score involvements and 16th for goal assists, while still kicking 14 goals of his own for the season.
While playing his traditional role across half forward for the majority of the year, Miers also added new strings to his bow by pushing up into the midfield at times, particularly in the latter stages of the campaign to give Geelong a different look at stoppages.
The Cats also announced early in the season that Miers had committed to the club for a further two years, which will see him remain at GMHBA Stadium until at least the end of 2028.

We pay our respects to Elders of the past, the present, and those that will lead their collective future. Kardinyu, in Wadawurrung language is the place of the morning sun, a place of deep cultural connection and significance, a meeting place since the beginning of time. We are honoured to walk with the Wadawurrung People, to listen, respect and talk together on our journey on Wadawurrung Country.
