Geelong's semi final opponent has been locked in.

The Cats will host Collingwood in the first semi final at the Gabba on Saturday 10 October.

The match will be televised live on Channel Seven with the first bounce at 7.40pm AEDT.

The winner will book themselves a place in the second preliminary final against Brisbane at the Gabba on Saturday 17 October.
