Reg has done some pretty special things in Australia playing AFL, but one of my fondest memories of watching Reg was when I was back in Ireland growing up.

I remember when Reg was a 17-year-old I think he was and he kicked goal of the year in the GAA, which was very uncommon for an under-18 to kick a Cuil Na Bliana it was called, which is Irish for Goal of the Year.

I remember his goal and it was in an under 18 competition where he was playing for his county and I think he scored two goals that day, which is very good for wing back which is where he was playing.

I remember him running down the wing and he smacked it in top corner, which was pretty special.

I never thought at that time that we would get to play together, let alone become great mates.

I am really looking forward to running out alongside Reg in his 200th game and I think it is going to be a pretty special moment for Zach, his family and Portlaoise.
