Geelong will play Essendon in their annual Powercor Country Festival clash in Round 16.

Geelong will remain in Queensland until at least Round 17 after the AFL revealed the remaining fixtures of the regular season on Friday afternoon.

In a big win for supporters, all three of Geelong’s confirmed games will be played on free-to-air television.

Geelong will play the Western Bulldogs at Metricon Stadium in Round 14, with a bye to follow.

Round 16 will see the Cats host their annual Powercor Country Festival clash against Essendon at the GABBA.

The following Round Geelong will host reigning premier Richmond, before concluding the home and away season against the Swans.

Round 18 is a floating fixture with the final details to be confirmed at a later date.
