Box Hill Hawks, who haven’t held a premiership flag since 2003, defeated Werribee Tigers by 52-points and the Cats dismantled Williamstown by 82.

Walker kicked five goals, Kersten four (who only played one half due to body soreness) and Jordan Murdoch three.

High disposals went to Mark Corrigan (30), Troy Selwood (27) and George Horlin Smith (26) and Trent West dominated in the ruck with 66 hit-outs.

Shane Savage led the way for the Hawks on Sunday with five goals and 28 disposals. His teammates to follow were Mitch O’Donnell (27), Mitch Hallahan (26) and Taylor Duryea (22).

Sunday’s Grand Final is set to be another hair-raiser when the two high-powered teams come head-to-head.
