Geelong has named three debutants for their round one AFLW clash against the Dockers at Fremantle Oval on Sunday.

The match will commence at 2.10pm local time (5.10pm AEDT) and be televised on Fox Footy and streamed on Kayo.

Millie Brown, the daughter of 84-game Cat Paul will make her AFLW debut.

Brown was Geelong’s top selection in last year’s National Draft and has been named to start in the back pocket.

Joining Brown in making their first appearance will be fellow 2019 draftees Madisen Maguire and Amy McDonald.

Both Maguire and McDonald were recruited from Geelong’s VFLW program and will have the added benefit of having experienced playing alongside many of their teammates before.

The match will also mark the return of Nina Morrison who hasn’t played since making her debut against the Blues 369 days ago.

Morrison’s return offsets the omission of last year’s best and fairest winner Meg McDonald, who is sidelined with a finger injury.

The final team will be named on Friday at 4pm.
