The KidsCo school holiday program will be returning to GMHBA Stadium for three full days of fun from Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 July.
Founded by Adrian Rokman and Laynton Allan, the program is run by qualified teachers to benefit parents during the often-daunting school holiday period.
The Geelong Football Club and KidsCo have again teamed up to provide a holiday program suited for the whole community.
“It was a natural step to come and align with the Geelong Football Club and really add to the great job they do in engaging the community,” said Allan.
“We’re giving Geelong folk a world-class educational experience here at GMHBA stadium.”
The program is designed for children aged between five to twelve years old and aims to help them learn through play and exploration while building confidence, making friends and working in teams.
“It is not one of those typical programs where they say mum I don’t want to go…they come here, and they make friends,” said Allan.
The Geelong Cats KidsCo experience will include VIP access for the little ones, watching the team train from the player's bench and meeting their idols afterwards.
There will also be opportunities to design and create with the kids engineering marshmallow skyscrapers and experimenting with eruptions and 'radical rockets'.
Allan believes the program is ‘a great holistic experience for kids who get to do a broad range of activities.’
"The kids touch on many fundamental areas of learning and enjoyment," he said.
The costs per day is $80 for members and $90 for the general public, but you must book ahead to secure a spot.
