There were plenty of glum faces in the Geelong camp at three-quarter time on Sunday evening.

The Cats were 35 points down against the Tigers and seemed about to cough up a golden opportunity to reclaim a berth in the top four.

However, Chris Scott rallied his men during the break and they responded with a barnstorming quarter of footy, kicking 6.9 to 1.0 and snatching a remarkable four-point win.

Patrick Dangerfield got things moving with a sensational centre break from the opening bounce of the final term, which led to a goal for Josh Caddy.

The rest of the Cats then came to life with a burst or run-and-gun play that was simply exhilarating.

It was fitting that milestone man Harry Taylor, who was playing his 200th game, proved to be among the key players after being moved forward during the second half.

Taylor kicked the goal that put the Cats in front with five minutes to play, before Tom Hawkins made the lead 10 points with a soccer goal that would have made Ronaldo proud.

Now we're keen to get your thoughts on the big moments in the last quarter.
