The focal point of Geelong's attack for an extended period of time, superstar forward Jackie Parry is set to reach her 75th AFLW game on Saturday afternoon. 

A consistent threat in front of the big sticks, Parry has carved out an incredible career across two clubs and eight seasons, a journey packed full of success and big moments. 

Parry's career commenced in 2020, when she was selected by Melbourne with Pick No. 54 in the AFLW draft. 

She would go on to spend three seasons with the Demons, making her debut in Round 4 of the 2020 season and establishing herself as a true threat in the attacking half. 

A new chapter beckoned midway through 2022 and, following AFLW Season Six, Parry was traded from Melbourne to Geelong ahead of Season Seven. 

She would make her mark immediately, with Parry making her club debut in the opening round of the season against Richmond, showing plenty of her potential as she settled in at the Cattery. 

But 2023 would be where her immense talent would become fully known, as Parry pieced together a brilliant season to help lead Geelong all the way to a Preliminary Final. 

She started the campaign with back-to-back three goal hauls, going on to kick 16 goals for the season and hitting the scoreboard in all three of the Cats' Finals matches. 

She has continued to grow in recent years, a reliable and consistent contributor in Geelong's attack, kicking 12 goals in the 2024 season and following that up with 11 goals in 2025. 

Parry is not only a goal scorer, but can also push up the ground and impact the play to set up scoring opportunities for teammates, also able to provide an outlet with her aerial ability. 

She has shown no signs of slowing down in 2026 either, kicking a career-high six goals in Round 2 against St Kilda, while also kicking two goals in both of Geelong's most recent two matches. 

Parry will reach her 75th AFLW game this weekend, when Geelong take on Collingwood at Victoria Park on Saturday afternoon.
