Edwards on whether he reflects on the last six months

Yeah very much so.

I was just talking before about my first game, funnily enough it was against Freo. It seems like so long ago, but also not that long ago when I was out here debuting.

It was a pretty first game to be a part of I reckon, where I learned how resilient this group really is.

I have been around a couple of years and seen it, but really experiencing it firsthand was something else. It has been a crazy year. 

Edwards on the influential figures around the club

They have been massive. Obviously I get massive support from Paddy [Dangerfield], he is such a great player.

Also the likes of 'Blitz,' Rhys Stanley has helped me massively as well.

Brad Ottens comes into the club as well a fair bit, he helps me with my ruck craft.

It is really good to have those older guys helping me out, taking me under their wings. 

Edwards on facing Luke Jackson

I was thinking that myself, I don't really know to be honest what 'Scotty' will come up with. I am sure he will come up with something, but we will work through that during the week.

'Blitz' is obviously a very good aerobic runner and covers the ground nicely, so I think he will be chopping me out a bit. 

Obviously Luke is a great player and I love the way he goes about his ruck craft and that kind of stuff. I guess I will try to match my game, I take in lots of learnings from this year.

I have played against some good ruckmen, him being one of them and I guess I have just built on that during the year. If I get my game on point, I think it can stack up against his hopefully.

If I can nullify him, I think that is a win for us so I will be trying to do that. 

Edwards on the midfield battle

You need a fair few plans, but we have got a pretty good midfield ourselves I like to think.

I feel like we have grown throughout the year and matured a fair bit. When things aren't going our way, we are able to arrest that momentum and bring it back our way.

Obviously they have got heaps of guns going through there as well, they had four or five All-Australian's.

They are a great team, but we will get after that. 

Edwards on the sold out crowd

I am really looking forward to it.

We just played in front of over 96,000, so we are pretty used to the noise I would like to think. I am really looking forward to the opportunity, things like Wharfie Time.

As much as it is a strength for them, we can use it ourselves a bit.

I guess it is just the crowd yelling in the end, so I will just try to think that they are going for us maybe.
